Sacred Commitments

Clearwater Cooperative and Shift Happens are commited in mind, body, and spirit, intention and action, to decolonizing and antiopression. This is at all levels from individual/internal to societal/external. We commit to increasing awareness of any systems or processes that attempt to control, reduce or destroy the inherent potential of humans, animals, or nature. Have you ever considered what parts of you and your life have been colonized and by who/what?  Alternately, who or what is it you are taking over, knowingly or unknowingly, that does not want to be controlled?  

We challenge and invite everyone, everywhere, to also work to increase awareness and to take concrete actions to challenge self-limiting and other-limiting systems. Challenge toxicity and embrace health. We invite those with similar commitments to cooperate in our work.

Our commitment is to truth.  To learning the truth of past histories, understanding the truth of current actions, and building the truth of a more beneficial future for individuals and the collective/all.  Therefore, we work to SHIFT privilege and control BACK those who it has been stolen from or eroded away from, through no fault of their own. The truth is, we all lose our power sometimes - some more than others.
